What is the $50,000 bond amount based on?

The bond amount is based on 10% of the duties, taxes, and fees paid to Customs within a 12-month period. If you’re a first-time importer, this amount can be estimated based on your expected duties, taxes, and fees to be paid. For previous importers, the bond amount can be calculated based on the previous year’s duties, taxes, and fees paid, along with the upcoming year.

Do you offer Continuous Customs Bonds with more than $50,000 of coverage?

We do! However, we don’t sell these bonds directly on our website. If you’re interested in a Customs Bond that provides additional coverage, please contact our team to discuss your specific needs.
